English-22
Why practice?
Whatever your reasons, I can help you prepare for that all-important interview in English. Many people just need to feel more confident using their English during the interview. This comes through practice. It’s normal to be a bit nervous during a job interview – especially if it’s in English, not your first language! Much better to reduce or get rid of that nervousness during a practice interview with me first! Then you’ll feel more relaxed during the real interview. You might even enjoy it!
What questions?
You may already know what questions you’ll be asked in the interview. That’s great – we can practice them! But if you have no idea, it’s no problem. I have a list of very typical interview questions we can discuss – plus the probable reasons you are being asked them. This will be extremely useful for the real interview because:
You will already have answers to key questions
You will have the right English to express yourself well
You will already have thought about questions that you perhaps weren’t expecting
What other advice?
I can also give you more general advice about preparing for the interview – for example, finding out as much as possible about the organisation and the job it’s offering. Sounds obvious? Not to everyone! Some candidates don’t do this and their lack of knowledge can lose them the job. This is just one thing candidates need to be aware of before their interview.
